Regional Botanicals

Truly local body care and home products to imbue your life with regional, medicinal magic.

Through collaboration with Folks Farm in Fort Collins, sustainable wildcraft, my own home garden, and sourcing ingredients as local and mindfully as possible (beeswax from BeeSquared Apiaries), I focus on spotlighting the botanicals that share our home with love, simplicity, ritual, and care.

Upcycled Textiles

Textile baskets are the seed of inspiration for Rey Atelier.

In a meditative act to process my father's death in 2017, I lovingly wove "Doormats for Grief" as a therapeutic grief process where I would hand-shred fabric and then crochet mats.

Mats became wall hangings and eventually, when I was ready, the mats curved up with sides and became baskets.

Plant Pigments

Growing, harvesting, playing: the world of plant pigments is endless.

Through collaboration with Folks Farm I've been exploring the joys of botanical dyes through starting with seed and ending with pigment.

Ephemeral Movement

An eco-somatic praxis by which I live.

EM is a movement-based practice I developed in my undergrad studies and the scaffolding by which I explore creative work and embodied living.

It is a somatic practice, a creative lens, and now the name of my blog.
