About Rey Atelier
Rey Atelier grew out of an ending when I took to meditatively crocheting mats to make space for the grief of a familial loss. These "Doormats for Grief" formed the beginning of my creative studio as an umbrella to my many endeavors.
With a background in the healing arts as an herbalist, somatic practitioner, and creative, I value the alchemical power of simplicity, attention, and ritual.
The Botanicals bodycare line is a love-letter to local medicine, working directly with local growers and producers to source these special medicinals from our own backyard.

After moving to Colorado in 2009, Mary graduated from Naropa University with an Interdisciplinary degree in Environmental Studies, Art, and Performance (2013). She found herbalism in 2015 and studied at the Colorado School of Clinical Herbalism to become a certified herbalist. Now with a Masters in Psychological Studies from the California Institute of Integral Studies (2024), she channels her unique knowledge into her studio work, apothecary line, and motherhood endeavors. When she's not chasing a toddler, tending her gardens, or making art and products, you might find her basking in the mountains at the river.
